I'm happy to see so many of you gathered here today to honor an outstanding achievement by one of our staff members. For his breakthrough research in cell biology Thomas Dominguez won the Cartman Prize in Science last month. This distinguished award, for those of you who don't know, is given by the Cartman Institute and comes with a grant to be used for further research. We are proud of Dr. Dominguez's achievement.
